JackingtheMachine
CAUTION
Whenchangingattachmentsorperformingother
service,usecorrectblocks,hoistsorjacks.Make
suremachineisparkedonasolidlevelsurface
suchasaconcreteoor.Priortoraisingmachine,
removeanyattachmentsthatmayinterferewith
thesafeandproperraisingofthemachine.Always
chockorblocktowvehiclewheels.Usejackstands
orsolidwoodblockstosupporttheraisedmachine.
Ifthemachineisnotproperlysupportedbyblocks
orjackstands,themachinemaymoveorfall,which
mayresultinpersonalinjury.
Note:Ifavailable,ahoistcanbeusedtolifttherearofthe
ProCoreAerator.Usetheeyeletsinthecoringheadbearing
housingsashoistattachmentpoints(Figure26)

Themainworkingbearingsoftheaeratoraresealedforlife
andrequirenomaintenanceorlubrication.Thisdrastically
reducesthemaintenancerequiredandeliminatestheriskof
greaseoroilbeingdroppedontotheturf.
TherearegreasettingsthatmustbelubricatedwithanSAE
multi-purpose,high-temperaturegreasewithhigh-pressure
(EP)performanceorSAEmulti-purposelithium-based
grease.
