StorageSafety
Beforeadjusting,cleaning,storing,orrepairingthe
machine,parktheitonalevelsurface;engage
theparkingbrakeofthetractionunit;shutoffthe
engine;removethekey;andwaitforallmovement
tostopbeforeleavingthetractionunit.
Storethemachineonthestoragestands
positionedonarm,levelsurfacesothatitdoes
notsinkortipover.
Storethemachineawayfromareasofhuman
activity.
Donotallowchildrentoplayonoraroundthe
storedmachine.
StoringtheMachine
Attheendofanaeratingseasonorwhenthemachine
isstoredforalongperiod,dooutthefollowing
procedure:
1.Cleanoffanydirtorgreasethatmayhave
accumulatedonthemachineoranyofthe
movingparts.
2.Removeandcleanoutthetines.Coatthetines
withoiltopreventrustingduringstorage.
3.Openthehoodandcleanouttheinsideofthe
machine.
4.Lubricateallgreasettings.
5.Storethemachineontheprovidedstorage
standsonahard,drysurface.
6.SupportthePTOdriveshaftinthestoredposition
withthetethertopreventdamage,orremove
thePTOandstoreitunderthehoodtominimize
corrosion.
7.Painttherollerandtouchupanyotherscratches
onthepaintedsurfaces.
8.Replaceanymissingordamageddecals.
9.Storethemachineinsideadry,securebuilding.
Insidestoragereducesmaintenance,givesa
longerworkinglife,andincreasestheresidual
valueofthemachine.Ifinsidestorageisnot
available,coverthemachinewithaheavysheet
ortarpaulinandsecureittightly.
