NOTE: The gearbox used on ProCore 864 and 1298
machines is identical.
Disassembly (Fig. 41)
1. Remove six (6) flange head screws that secure quill
assembly to gearbox housing.
NOTE: Gaskets (item 15) are used to adjust gearbox
backlash. Take note of number of gaskets to assist in as-
sembly process.
2. Pull quill assembly from gearbox housing. Remove
and discard O−ring and gasket(s).
