Allowthegearboxtocoolbeforecheckingthe
lubrication.
1.Cleandebrisfromllplugandcheckplugtoavoid
contamination.
2.Removethecheckplugfromthegearbox(Figure27).

1.Cleandebrisfromllpluganddraincaptoavoid
contamination(Figure27).
2.Removethellplugtorelieveairdraw.
3.Positionadrainpanunderthedraintubeandremove
draincap.
Note:Thehighviscosityofcooloilwillextendthe
draintime.(approximately30minutes)
4.Afteroiliscompletelydrained,reinstallthedraincap.
5.Fillwith56ounces(1650ml)ofhighquality80W-90
gearlube.
6.Installthellplug.
7.Checktheoillevel.
