Important:Ifnecessary,installtheshortdriveshaft,
Part115-2839(soldseparately).Inmostcases,theshort
driveshaftisnotneeded.
RefertoFigure9anddeterminethepositionofthePTO
outputshaftonthetractor,relativetothepositionofthe
lowertrailingarms.Thisdistanceisdesignatedthe“M”
dimension.Thestandarddriveshaftincludedwithyour
aeratortsatractor“M”dimensiondownto48.89cm(19.25
inches).Ifthe“M”dimensionissmaller,weofferanoptional
shorterPTOdriveshaftassembly(115-2839),whichtsa
tractor“M”dimensiondownto39.37cm(15.50inches).
Itmaybehelpfultoplaceastraightedgeacrosstheendsof
thetrailingarmstodeterminethedistancebetweenthemand
theendofthePTOoutputshaftend.Consultyourtractor
operator’smanualforpotentiallengthadjustmentcapability
inthetractortrailingarmdesign.ContactyourAuthorized
ToroDistributorifyouneedanyassistancetoperformthis
measurementandtoorderthedriveshaft(115-2839),should
itberequired.
