Training
Ownersofthisaeratormustgiveoperatorsandemployees
fulloperationandsafetyinstructionsbeforeallowing
themtooperatethismachineandatleastannually
thereafter.Anoperatorwhohasnotreadandfully
understoodalloperatingandsafetyinstructionsisnot
qualiedtooperatethismachine.Becomefamiliarwith
allcontrolsandknowhowtostopquickly.
Donotallowchildrentooperatethemachine.Donot
allowadultstooperatethemachinewithoutproper
instruction.
Removealldebrisorotherobjectsthatmightinterfere
withoperation.Keepallbystandersawayfromthework
area.
Locateandmarkallundergroundobstructionssuchas
irrigationcomponents,andelectricalortelephonelines.
Makesurethatthetractorisinneutralandparkingbrake
appliedbeforestarting.RefertotheTractorOperator's
Manualforsafestartingprocedures.
MountingtheProCoreAeratortotherearofthetractor
willdecreasetheweightonthetractorfrontaxle.To
assureadequatesteeringcontrolandstabilityitmaybe
necessarytoaddballasttothefrontofthetractor.Refer
toTractorOperator'sManualforballastrequirements.
Keepallshieldsandsafetydevicesinplace.Ifashield,
safetydeviceordecalisdamaged,repairorreplaceit
beforeoperationiscommenced.Alsotightenanyloose
nuts,boltsandscrewstoensuremachineisinsafe
operatingcondition.
Donotoperatemachinewhilewearingsandals,tennis
shoes,sneakersorshorts.Also,donotwearloose-tting
clothingwhichcouldgetcaughtinmovingparts.Always
wearlongpantsandsubstantialshoes.Wearingsafety
glasses,safetyshoes,hearingprotectionandahelmetis
advisableandmayberequiredbysomelocalordinances
andinsuranceregulations.
