Alwaysshutofftheengineofthetractorand
removethekey.Waitforallmovementtostop
andallowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
cleaning,storing,orrepairingit.
Storethemachineonthestoragestands
positionedonarm,levelsurfacesothatitdoes
notsinkortipover.
Storethemachineawayfromareasofhuman
activity.
Donotallowchildrentoplayonoraroundthe
storedmachine.
StoringtheMachine
Attheendofanaeratingseasonorwhentheaerator
willnotbeusedforalongperiod,itisgoodpracticeto
carryoutthefollowingpreventivemaintenance.
1.Cleanoffanydirtorgreasethatmayhave
accumulatedontheaeratororanyofthemoving
parts.
2.Removeandcleanoutthetines.Coatthetines
withoiltopreventrustingduringstorage.
3.Openthehoodandcleanouttheinsideofthe
machine.
4.Lubricateallgreasettings.
5.Storethemachineontheprovidedstorage
standsonahard,drysurface.
6.T etherthePTOshaftinthestoredpositionto
preventdamage,orremovethePTOandstore
itunderthehoodtominimizecorrosion.
7.Painttherollerandtouchupanyotherscratches
onthepaintedsurfaces.
8.Replaceanymissingordamageddecals.
9.Storetheaeratorinsideadry,securebuilding.
Insidestoragereducesmaintenance,givesa
longerworkinglife,andincreasestheresidual
valueofthemachine.Ifinsidestorageisnot
available,coverthemachinewithaheavysheet
ortarpaulinandsecureittightly.
