Brush/Chopper
Note:TherearenocontrolstoturntheBrush/ChopperOn
orOFF .Thechopper/brushwillengagewhentheengine
RPMisincreasedanddisengagewhenthethrottleismoved
tolowidleorwhentheengineisstopped.
Lift/OffsetControls
Thelift/offsetfunctionsrunoffthetowvehiclehydraulic
system.Refertothetowvehicleoperatormanualfor
hydraulicsystemcontrolinformation.
Note:Thelift/offsetcontrolwillonlyfunctionwhenthe
coreprocessorengineswitchisinthe"ON"position.
Lift/offsetswitch
Thelift/offsetswitch(Figure25)allowstowvehiclehydraulic
systemtooperateintheliftoroffsetmode.
EngineStopSwitch
Presstheswitchtostoptheengine(Figure25).

Important:Ifyouneedtostopinahurry,therstthing
todoislifttheaerator.Ifyoustopthetractorbeforeyou
lifttheaerator,turfdamagewilloccur.
ChokeControl
Tostartacoldengine,pullchokecontrollever(Figure26)
outtotheONposition.
IgnitionSwitch
Theignitionswitch(Figure26)whichisusedtostartand
stoptheengine,hasthreepositions:OFF,RUNandSTART.
RotatekeyclockwisetotheSTARTpositiontoengagethe
startermotor.Releasethekeywhentheenginestarts.Thekey
willmoveautomaticallytotheONposition.Toshutengine
off,movethrottlecontroltoSLOWpositionandwaitforthe
enginetodeceleratebeforemovingthekeycounterclockwise
totheOFFposition.
ThrottleControl
Thethrottle(Figure26)isusedtooperateengineatvarious
speeds.MovingthrottlelevertoFASTpositionincreases
enginespeed.Todecreaseenginespeed,movelevertoSLOW
position.Alwaysruntheengineatfullthrottle.
