AdjustingtheBrushHeightin
theField
Whenoperatingthecoreprocessor,theframeshouldbelevel
tothegroundorthefrontoftheframeshouldbeslightly
higher.Adjusthebrushdownwarduntilitjustbeginstopick
upcores.
WiththeOnePassHitch,lowerthebrushbyadjustingthe
connectinglinkuntilthebrushcollectsallofthecores.
Shorteningtheconnectinglinkwilllowerthebrush,while
lengtheningthelinkwillraisethebrush.
WiththeTowHitch,lowerthebrushbyadjustingtheleveling
crankuntilthebrushcollectsallofthecores.Rotatingthe
levelingcrankcounterclockwisewillraisethebrush,while
rotatingthelevelingcrankclockwisewilllowerthebrush.
Note:Becarefulnottoengagethebrushtoofarintothe
grassasitcancauseprematurewearordamagetothebrush
andturfdamage.
AdjustingtheRollerScraper
Therollerscraper(Figure33)shouldbeadjustedsothereis
.15cm(1/16inch)clearancebetweenthescraperandthe
roller.Loosentherollerscraperadjustingfasteners,position
rollerasdesiredandtightenfasteners.
