CheckingtheHydraulicLines
andHoses
WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
•Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
•Getimmediatemedicalhelpifuidisinjected
intoskin.
Checkthehydrauliclinesandhosesdailyforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,weather
deterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.Makeallnecessary
repairsbeforeoperating.
Storage
1.Washthebrushhousingandchopperwithwater.Start
themachineandincreasespeeduntilChopperrotator
isengaged.Standtoonesideatrearofmachineand
spraywaterintospinningchopperuntilclean.
2.Checkallfasteners.Tightenasnecessary.
3.Greaseallgreasettings.Wipeoffexcesslubricant.
4.Checktheconditionofthebrushandblades.Replace
asrequired.
5.Servicetheaircleaner;refertoServicingtheAir
Cleaner.
6.Greaseandoilthemachine;refertoGreasingand
Lubrication.
7.Changethecrankcaseoil;refertoServicingtheEngine
Oil.
8.Checkthetirepressure;refertoCheckingtheTire.
9.Chargethebattery;refertoServicingtheBattery.
10.Beforedisconnectingfromthetowvehicle,lowerthe
coreprocessortotheground,installthestoragepins
inthefrontholesandthenremovethehydraulicand
mechanicalconnections.Thiswillensurethatthecore
processorremainsstablewhendisconnectingfromthe
towvehicle.
