Brush/Chopper
Note:TherearenocontrolstoturntheBrush/Chopper
OnorOFF.Thechopper/brushwillengagewhenthe
engineRPMisincreasedanddisengagewhenthethrottle
ismovedtolowidleorwhentheengineisstopped.
Lift/OffsetControls
Thelift/offsetrunsoffthetowvehiclehydraulicsystem.
Refertothetowvehicleoperatormanualforhydraulic
systemcontrolinformation.
Note:Thelift/offsetcontrolwillonlyfunctionwhen
thecoreprocessorengineswitchisinthe"ON"position.

Thelift/offsetswitch(Figure25)allowstowvehicle
hydraulicsystemtooperateintheliftoroffsetmode.

Presstheswitchtostoptheengine(Figure25).

Important:Ifyouneedtostopinahurry,therst
thingtodoislifttheaerator.Ifyoustopthetractor
beforeyoulifttheaerator,turfdamagewilloccur.
ChokeControl
Tostartacoldengine,pullchokecontrollever
(Figure26)outtotheONposition.
IgnitionSwitch
Theignitionswitch(Figure26)whichisusedtostart
andstoptheengine,hasthreepositions:OFF,RUNand
START.RotatekeyclockwisetotheSTARTposition
toengagethestartermotor.Releasethekeywhenthe
enginestarts.Thekeywillmoveautomaticallytothe
ONposition.Toshutengineoff,movethrottlecontrol
toSLOWpositionandwaitfortheenginetodecelerate
beforemovingthekeycounterclockwisetotheOFF
position.
ThrottleControl
Thethrottle(Figure26)isusedtooperateengineat
variousspeeds.MovingthrottlelevertoFASTposition
increasesenginespeed.Todecreaseenginespeed,move
levertoSLOWposition.Alwaysruntheengineatfull
throttle.
