OperatingTips
Thecoreprocessorwillleaveavarietyofnished
resultsdependingontheconditions.Ingeneral,ifthe
conditionsaregoodforaeration,theywillbegoodfor
processing.Soilmoisture,surfacemoistureordew,soil
compositionandamountofsoilprocessedallcanaffect
thenishedappearance.
Theamountofsoilprocessedcanbeinuencedbythe
tinesize,holedepthandholespacingoftheaerator.
Smallertinesizeandwiderspacingwillleavelesssoil
onthesurfaceandrequirelesspostprocessing.Some
soilmoistureisnecessaryforgoodaeration.
Properheightadjustmentisrelativelyeasytoattainbut
criticaltoasuccessfuloperation.Thebrushshouldbe
setatorslightlyabovetheheightofcutoftheturftobe
processed.Finetunethebrushheightusingthetoplink
ontheonepasssystem,oradjustmenthandleonthe
towhitch.Ifthebrushistooaggressive,theprocessor
willuseexcessivehorsepowerandprematurelywear
thebrush.Ifthebrushisnotaggressiveenough,some
coreswillbemissed.
Finalizeyourheightadjustmentonaremoteareaofthe
propertybeforeusingoncriticalareas.
Beforestartingoperation,surveyareatodeterminethe
bestdirectiontowork.
Alwaystrytomakealong,continuousrunwithaslight
overlaponthereturnrun.
Note:Tomaintainastraightlinewhenoperating,sight
anobjectintheforeground.
Important:Donotmakesharpturnswhenusing
thecoreprocessorasdamagetoturfmayoccur.
WhileOperating

•Whengoinguphillordownhill,donotstopor
startsuddenly.
•Stayalertforholesintheterrainorotherhidden

notdriveclosetoaditch,creekordropoff.
•Ifmachinestopsgoinguphill,disengage
aeratorandbackslowlydownhill.Donot
attempttoturn.
•Checktheconditionoftheprocessortipafter
thecompletionofeachfairwayorsportseld.
Replaceanybrokenorloosetips.
Transporting
Whenmovingfromoneworkareatoanother,proceed
asfollows;
•Insertthestoragepinsintherearholeposition.
•MakesuretoraisetheCoreProcessor.
•Donotexceed15MPH.
•Ifusingthetowhitch,repositionthecoreprocessor
behindthevehicle,retractthetowhitchand
movethelatchhandlepintothelockedposition
