Subject: Additional instructions to prepare Water System for storage.
A Hydroject equipped with a Pressure Regulator will be unable to completely drain
water from the water system as originally described in the Seasonal Storage
instructions in the Owner's Manual. The Pressure Regulator setting (90 psi) will
prevent the build up of sufficient air pressure to relieve the water through the nozzles
(set at 120 psi). Failure to drain the Water System sufficiently may result in damage to
the System Components, if the water freezes.
When draining the water system for storage follow the instructions in the Operator
Manual with one additional step listed below.
Added step required for units equipped with a Pressure Regulator:
v Before connecting the air supply to the Hydroject water inlets, remove the two
outermost Nozzle Retainers, Nozzles, Springs, and Check Balls. This will allow the
air to fully purge the water system without being blocked by the nozzles.
