CleaningtheTrailer
ServiceInterval:Aftereachuse—Cleanthetrailer.
Beforeeachuseordaily—Cleanthespectrometer
lenses.
Important:Youcanwashthetrailerwithmilddetergent
andwater.Donotpressurewashthetrailer.Avoid
excessiveuseofwater,especiallynearthedrivesystem.
Pressurewashingcanforcedirtandwaterintocritical
partsandelectronics.
•Removethedebrisbuilduponthetrailer.
•Washthetrailerwithmilddetergentandwater.Donot
pressurewashit.
•Cleanthespectrometerlenseswithglasscleanerand
water.
WinterizingtheFoamMarker
Important:Theliquidinthefoammarkerlineswill
freezeandblowoutthesealsifthetrailerisstoredin
freezingtemperatures.
Removetheliquidfromthetankandblowairintothe
foammarkerlinestocleartheliquidbeforestoringin
freezingtemperatures.
1.Relievethepressurewithinthetankbypullingthe
releasevalveonthetank.
2.Disconnecttheairandliquidtubingfromthetankcap.
3.Turnonthefoammarkerfor5minutes.
Note:Thiswillremovesolutionfromthesolenoids
andavoiddamagefromfreezing.
4.Disassemblethefoamnozzleandreplacethefoam
sponges.
5.Emptythetankofallsoapandliquidstoavoid
damagingthetankfromfreezing.

CleaningandStorage
1.Cleanthefoammarkerasfollows:
A.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
pump,settheparkingbrake,stoptheengine,and
removetheignitionkey.
B.Relievepressurewithintankbyopeningthetank
llcap,installthetankllcap,andhandtightenit.
C.Disconnecttheairandliquidtubingfromthe
tank.
D.Disassemblethefoamnozzlesandreplacethe
foamsponges.
E.Emptythetankofallsoapandliquidstoavoid
damagingthetankfromfreezing.
2.Storethemachineasfollows:
A.Removegrassclippings,dirt,andgrimefromthe
externalpartsoftheentiremachine.
Important:Youcanwashthemachinewith
milddetergentandwater.Donotpressure
washthemachine.Avoidexcessiveuseof
water,especiallynearthedrivesystemand
engine.Pressurewashingcanforcedirt
andwaterintocriticalparts,suchasspindle
bearingsandelectricalswitches.
B.Greasethemachine;referto
Lubricatingthe
Machine(page23).
C.Checkthetirepressure;refertoDriveSystem
Maintenance(page24).
D.Checkandtightenallbolts,nuts,andscrews.
Repairorreplaceanypartthatisdamagedor
defective.
E.Paintallscratchedorbaremetalsurfaces.Paintis
availablefromyourAuthorizedServiceDealer.
F.Storethemachineinaclean,drygarageorstorage
area.Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchand
keepitinamemorableplace.Coverthemachine
toprotectitandkeepitclean.
