Assembling the Side Lights and Brackets 2 1. Preparing the Lights Align the hole in the LED light pivot bracket with the hole in the rear light bracket, and shown in Figure 2. Parts needed for this procedure: 3 LED light and pivot bracket 1 Rear light bracket 1 Bolt (M8 x 25) 1 Washer (M8) 1 Locknut (M8) 2 Side light bracket Assembling the Rear Light and Bracket 1. Align the hole in the LED light pivot bracket with the hole in the rear light bracket, and shown in Figure 1.

4. 3 Secure the bracket to the frame (Figure 4) with 2 carriage bolts (5/16 x 1 inch) and flange locknuts (5/16 inch). 5. Installing the Side Lights Remove the cap from the 2-socket connector of the machine wire harness labeled WORK LIGHT (Figure 5). 1. Note: You may discard the wire harness cap once the lights are installed. At the right side of the machine, align the holes in the LED light and side light bracket assembled for right position with the holes in the engine support channel, as shown in Figure 6. g384749 Figure 6 1. 2. Remove the cap from the 2-socket connector of the machine wire harness labeled WORK LIGHTS (Figure 9). 5. Insert the small notch of the lower handle cover into the panel-edge clip of the light-kit harness (Figure 11). Assembling the Handlebar Lights 1. Installing the Light Switch Remove the 2 lower carriage bolts (5/16 x 1 inch) and 2 flange locknuts (5/16 inch) that secure the handle to the control panel plate (Figure 13). 1. Plug the rocker switch into the 8-socket connector of the handle harness labeled WORK LIGHTS SWITCH. 6. Insert the switch into the hole in the control panel until it snaps in securely. 7. Install the upper cover to the handle with the 4 socket-head screws. 8. Remove the backing from the light decal. 9. Below the switch adhere the light decal to the control-panel decal (Figure 18).

Aiming the Side Lights 5 1. Extend the marker rod to the working position. 2. Aim the side light at the pointer at the end of the marker rod (Figure 20).
