Pivot arm

Jam nut

Ball joint

• Apply medium strength Blue Loctite #242 or

equivalent onto ball joint threads before assembly.

• Thread nut onto ball joint stud.

• Thread ball joint and nut into pivot arm until the

dimension shown in figure 1 is attained.

• Tighten jam nut to 150–180 ft./lb.
