Installation Instructions

Accidental starting of the engine could seriously

injure you or other bystanders.

Remove the key from the ignition switch before

you do any maintenance.

Caution

1. Remove the control console cover.

2. Remove the bolt and nut securing the lower right

corner of the fuse block to the frame (Fig. 1).

3. Insert the relay behind the fuse block while aligning it

with the mounting holes (Fig. 2).

4. Secure the fuse block and the relay to the frame with

the bolt and nut previously removed (Fig. 2).

5. Locate the accessory wire and connector from behind

one of the open accessory fuse holders (Fig. 2).

6. Plug the relay wire harness connector into the

accessory wire connector (Fig. 2).

Note: Refer to figure 6 for the harness connector

identification.

7. Insert the 15 amp fuse (included in the kit) into the

accessory fuse block (Fig. 2).

8. Route the relay starter harness thru the control console

to the harness connector of the power point (Fig. 3).

9. Unplug the wire connector from the back of the power

point (Fig. 3).

10. Plug one of the wire harness connectors into the power point and the other into the wire connector. 12. Unplug the blue wire from the connector on the rear of the starter motor (Fig. 4). 11. Route the wire harness to the engine starter motor while following the main wire harness. Keep the harness away any hot or moving parts. 13. Plug a wire harness connector into the blue starter motor wire connector (Fig. 4). 14. Plug the remaining wire harness connector into the starter motor connector (Fig. 4).
