Use the location description listed below to determine the correct placement on the product. Important: Should any of the guards become damaged, replace them immediately. Each part number is listed below. Replacements may be ordered through your authorized Toro distributor.

Installing the Baffles previously removed, positioning them as shown in Figure 1. 1. Remove the 9 screws and nuts from the mounting holes provided in the front of the deck. Note: If not provided, use 5/16 x 3/4 inch flange head screws and 5/16 inch nuts. Note: If the holes are not in the deck, locate, mark, and drill 7 holes (0.344 inch (9mm) diameter) in the front of the deck, using the dimensions shown in Figure 1. 2.

Installing the Drive Shaft Guard 2. Remove the grease fitting from the drive shaft slip yoke tube (Figure 2). Retain the grease fitting. 3. Remove the retaining ring and nylon bushing shipped in place in the inner drive shaft guard (Figure 2). 4. Slide the retaining ring all the way onto the drive shaft tube (Figure 2). 5. Insert the nylon bushing into the groove on the drive shaft tube (Figure 2). 6.
