1.Parkthetractionunitonalevelsurface,lower

thecuttingunits,engagetheparkingbrake,shut

offtheengineandremovethekey.

2.Removethecarriageboltsandnutssecuring

theheight-of-cutbracketstothecutting-unitside

plates(Figure1).

3.Removetheheight-of-cutbracketsandthefront

rollerfromthecutting-unitsideplates(Figure1).

4.Loosenthejamnutsandscrewssecuringthe

height-of-cutbracketstothefrontrollershaftand

removethebracketsfromtheroller(Figure1).

5.Installthe2washersandaangenut(3/8

inch)ontoeachkitheight-of-cutadjusterboltas

showninFigure2.

10. Center the roller between the height-of-cut brackets and lock it in place with the bolts and locknuts on the brackets (Figure 4). g012169 Figure 2 1. Height-of-cut adjuster bolt 3. Loosely install the kit height-of-cut brackets to the existing front roller with the bolts (5/16 x 1-1/8 inches) and flange-head locknuts (5/16 inch). Position the height-of-cut brackets as shown in Figure 3 and Figure 4.
