mountingplatemustbeushagainstthehood.

On the back of the aerator hood, determine a suitable location to install the tool kit mounting plate. Position the mounting plate on the hood while aligning the plate’s bend with the curve in the hood as shown in (Figure 1) The lower portion of the mounting plate must be flush against the hood. Figure 3 4.

6. Enlarge each of the .203 pilot holes to 1/2 inch diameter for clearance holes for the latch lock nuts (Figure 6). 9. Insert the Quick Lock Tool into the slot on the plate and secure with the keepers (Figure 9). Figure 9 Figure 6 7. Mount the latch brackets and the keeper brackets to the mounting plate with #10 x 1/2 inch screws and lock nuts Position the brackets as shown in Figure 7. Figure 7 8. Secure the mounting plate to the hood with (4) 1/4 x 3/4 inch screws and locknuts (Figure 8).
