1.Removethefastenerssecuringthecoverstothe

drivechainmount(Figure1).Removeanddiscard

thelargecoverbutretainthesmallcoverforreuse.

Remove the fasteners securing the covers to the drive chain mount (Figure 1). Remove and discard the large cover but retain the small cover for reuse. 4. Remove the bolts and nuts securing the drive chain mount to the snow thrower frame (Figure 3). Remove and discard the drive chain mount but retain the fasteners. Figure 1 2. Large cover 1.

10. Install the new chain onto the PTO and drive sprockets. Secure the chain with the master link (Figure 7). 6. Install the new drive sprocket to the drive shaft with 2 set screws (Figure 5). Install the PTO assembly to the new drive chain mount with the bearing flanges, bearings, and fasteners previously removed (Figure 6). 3. Chain adjuster bolt 4. Nut 11.

13. Loosely mount the right mounting bracket to the attachment frame with 3 bolts (7/16 x 3 inches), 6 flat washers, and 3 locknuts (7/16 inch) (Figure 9). 17. Connect the traction unit PTO to the snow thrower PTO with 2 bolts (5/16 x 1-1/2 inches), locknuts (5/16 inch), and a roll pin (3/16 x 1–1/2 inches) (Figure 12).

19. Mount the PTO guard to the drive chain mount with 2 washer head self tapping screws (1/4 x 1/2 inch) (Figure 13). Figure 13 1. PTO guard 20. Tighten all fasteners.
