1.Removetheplasticplugfromthetopofthegearbox.

2.Installthevent,ventadapterandO-ringtothegear

boxasshowninFigure1.

Note:MakesuretheO-ringisinpositionand

lubricatedwithautomatictransmissionuid.

4.Rellthegearcasewith94ouncesofcleanDexron

IIIratedATFlubricantasfollows:

A.Placethemoweronitsdrumsonalevelsurface.

B.Removethecheckplugfromtheright-handside

ofthetransmission(Figure2).

C.Removethellplug,fromthetopofthe

transmission,andaddenoughDexronIIIrated

ATFlubricantuntilthelevelreachesthebottom

ofthecheckhole(Figure2).

D.Installtheplugs.
