InstallingtheTrailerLightWire
Harness
1.Raisethebedandpositionthesafetysupportonthe
extendedliftcylindertoholdupthebed.
2.Stoptheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,and
removethekeyfromtheignition.
3.Routethewireharnessinfromthetrailerhitchto
therearframetube.Then,separatethetwosidesof
theharness,routingeachalongthebottomofthe
rearframetubetotheopeningsinthesideframe
railsasshownin
Figure1.
Important:Ensurethatyouroutetheside
oftheharnesslabeledLefttotheleftvehicle
siderailandthesidelabeledRighttotheright
vehiclesiderail.

7.Starttheengineandtestthevehiclebrakelights,
ensuringthattheywork.
8.Connectatrailertothevehicle,connectingthetrailer
lightconnectoronthevehicletotheoneonthe
trailer.
9.Testthebrakes,ensuringthatthebrakelightsonthe
trailerwork.
