totheheadliner.Carefullypropuptherooftogain

accesstothecondensercovermountingnutsand

theA/Cheater.

4.Removethe(2)capscrews,washers,bushingsand

angenutssecuringthefrontofthecondensercover

totheroof(

Figure1).Discardthecapscrewsand

nutsbutretainthebushingsandwashers.

5.Cutthefanwiresatthesplicelocatedbetweenthe

coverandroof.

6.Crimpthenewconnectorsontothewiresasfollows:

•Inserttheblackwireintothemaleterminal

(Figure2).Positionthecrimpingtool

approximately1/16inchoftheinsideendofthe

insulation.

•Inserttheredwireintothefemaleterminal

(

Figure2).Positionthecrimpingtoolagainstthe

insulation,wherethebarrelgetswider.

Lower the wing decks. 2. Remove the (4) nuts securing the fan to the fan mount (Figure 1). Discard the nuts. approximately 1/16 inch of the inside end of the insulation. • Insert the red wire into the female terminal (Figure 2). Position the crimping tool against the insulation, where the barrel gets wider.

11. Quickly unscrew the switch from the receiver drier and replace it with the new switch included in the kit (Figure 3). Torque the switch to 90 in-lbs (10 N-m). 12. Plug the wire harness into the new switch. 13. Using the condenser cover mounting holes, secure each end of the strap to the underside of the roof with a 1/4 x 1–1/2 inch carriage bolt, reused washer, reused bushing, new washer and new 1/4 inch nut (Figure 4).
