Installation

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe

attachment,turntheengineoff,applytheparking

brakeandremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.

2.Removeanyrearattachment.

3.Raisetheseat.

4.Removethe(3)screwssecuringtherearcover

assemblytotheframe(

Park the machine on a level surface, lower the attachment, turn the engine off, apply the parking brake and remove the key from the ignition switch. 2. Remove any rear attachment. 3. Raise the seat. 4. Remove the (3) screws securing the rear cover assembly to the frame (Figure 1). Remove the cover. Figure 2 1. Clevis pin 2. Cotter pin 3.

7. Remove the (3) flange head screws securing the muffler shield to the engine (Figure 4). Remove the muffler shield and exhaust shield. Reinstall the flange head screws to the engine. 9. 12. Insert the new machine screw, the existing seat holding post and spacer into the frame tab (Figure 8). Do not install the nut at this time. 14. Secure the roller plate and the muffler shield mounting tabs to the frame with the (4) bolts, washers and flange nuts previously removed (Figure 10). Tighten all the shield mounting fasteners.
