1.Lowerthemowerdecktothelowestposition.

2.Fromtherighthandsideofthemowerdeck,checkthe

fueltankforanywearinfrontofthehydraulicpump

drivebelt.

•Ifyouseeorfeelwithyourngernailagroove

inthefueltankfromthehydraulicpumpdrive

belt,thefueltankneedstobereplaced.Proceed

toInstallingtheBeltGuardwiththeFuelTank

Removedandorderanewfueltank(Figure1).

•Ifthefueltankdoesnothaveanywearfromthe

hydraulicpumpdrivebelt,proceedtoInstallingthe

BeltGuardwiththeFuelTankInstalled.

Installing the Belt Guard with the Fuel Tank Removed 1. Drive the machine to a level surface. 2. Disengage the PTO, move the motion control levers to the neutral locked position, and set the parking brake. 1 3. Stop the engine, remove the key, and wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the operating position. 4. Move the seat the furthest rear position to expose the front nuts. 5.
