1.Raisetherearofthecuttingunitandplaceablock
underthebedknife.
2.Removethe2nutssecuringtherollerretainer,roller,
spacer,andshimtotheleftorrightsideplatemounting
ange(Figure1).Removethecomponents.

4.Looselymounttheshaftadjusterandrollershafttothe
sideplatemountingangewithanewrollerspacer,
newshaftretainerandpreviouslyremovedshim,
screws,andnuts(Figure2).
Donottightenthefastenersatthistime.Makesurethe
shimisinthecorrectpositionforthedesiredheight
ofcut.RefertotheCuttingUnitOperator’sManualfor
adjustmentinformation.
Note:Ensurethatthespacerandretainerareseated
insidetheangesoftheshaftadjuster.
