Note:Thiskitisdesignedtoeliminateengineoilthat

maydripfromtheenginebreatherlineafterthemachine

hasbeenparkedforextendedperiodsoftime,suchas

overnight.Thisdrippingmayresultinsmallspotsonthe

oororground.Iftheengineoilcontinuallydripswhile

theengineisrunningorispoolingunderthemachine,

thiskitwillnotcorrecttheproblem;instead,havethe

engineexaminedbyanAuthorizedCumminsEngine

RepairCenter.

1.Movethemachineonalevelsurface.

2.Lowerthecuttingunits,stoptheengine,waitforall

movingpartstostop,andremovethekeyfromthe

ignitionswitch.

CAUTION

Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,

someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand

seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchbefore

youinstallthekit.

Note: Save the existing bolts and nuts for securing the new breather bracket and breather (and oil-water separator) to the machine frame. 1 Remove the Existing Breather and Breather Bracket 2 No Parts Required Mounting the New Breather Procedure Parts needed for this procedure: 1. Disconnect the breather hose and the oil-return hose from the existing breather (Figure 1). 1 Breather kit 1 Breather bracket Note: Do not disconnect the breather hose and the oil-return hose from the engine.
