Figure 3 1. Scraper bracket 3. Side-plate, mounting flange 2. Spacer (1/4 inch) 4. Thread a flange locknut (3/8 inch) onto each end of the scraper rod as shown in Figure 2. 5. Insert the scraper rod into the scraper brackets and loosely secure it with 2 flange locknuts (3/8 inch) as shown in Figure 2. 6. Adjust the locknuts to attain a 0.030 inch to 0.060 inch clearance between the scraper bar and the roller.
