1.Decreasetheenginespeedmidwaybetweenthe

slowandfastpositions.

2.Lettheengineidlefor20seconds.

3.PresstheSTOPbuttonontheremotecontrol.

4.Ifleavingthemachine,rotatethekeytotheOFF

positionandremoveitfromtheengine(Figure10).

Theremotecontrolactivates(powersup)when

anypushbuttonispressed.BlinkingTXandRX

LEDsindicatethattheremotecontrolisaliveand

communicatingwiththebaseunit.Toconservebattery

power,theremotecontrolstaysactiveforapproximately

3secondsbeforeautomaticallyshuttingdownunless

thereisbuttonactivitywithinthethreesecondlimit.

Whentheunittimesoutandpowersdown,allremote

controlLEDactivitystops(

Figure12).Pressingany

buttonwillreactivatetheremotecontrol.

PowerSaveMode

ThebaseunitwillreverttoPowerSaveMode―untila

powercycleoccurs―ifthebaseunitisactiveformore

than2.5hourswithoutcommunicationfromtheremote

control.PowerSaveModeisalowcurrentstateofthe

baseunit.InPowerSaveMode,thebaseunitwillnot

communicatewiththeremotecontrol,willnotactivate

outputs,andwillnotgenerallyfunctionasnormal.

•Wheninthetime-outmodetheenginewillnotrun

(orwillquitrunning)andtheremotecontrolwill

notcontrolanyfunction.

•Towakecontrollerintime-outmode,turnthekey

switchtotheOFFpositionandthenturnthekey

switchtothestartpositionmomentarily(enginewill

turnover).

•Toavoidcontrollertime-outduringoperation,use

theremotecontroltorotatethechuteorchangethe

enginespeedatleastevery2.5hours.
