1.Placethecuttingunitonalevelsurface.
2.Removetheboltandangenutsecuringeachendof
frontrollertorollerbrackets.Retaintheboltsand
angenuts.
3.Makesuretheangenutsarethreadedontothebolts
asshownin
Figure1.
Note:Thecomb/scraperassemblyisloosely
assembledatthefactory.Donottightenthelocknuts
atthistime.
4.Mounteachendofthecombbrackettothetopof
eachrollerbracketwithaangenutandboltasshown
in
Figure1.
Note:Ifthescraperisnotrequired,removeitfrom
theassembly.Whenreassemblingthecomponents,
insert2washersontoeachboltsotheyactasspacers
betweenthecombbracketandcombplate(
Figure1).
Thewashersareshippedloose.
5.Makesuretherollerandcombassemblyaresecureand
centeredintherollerbrackets,thentightentheange
nutsonthebolts.
6.Usingagaugebarandruler,setthecombaggressiveness
tomeetyourturfconditions.Securethelocknuts.
•Recommendedheightofcutrangeis9.5mmto19
mm(0.375inchto0.75inch).
•Lessaggressivesetting=HeightofCutSetting.
•Moreaggressivesetting=3mm(1/8inch)Below
HeightofCutSetting.
Note:Itmayrequireafewweeksofoperationto
removeexcessgraininturf.
