Place the machine on a level surface, stop the engine, and remove the spark plug wire. 2. Remove and retain the hoses and hose clamps from the old canister assembly. 3. Remove the old canister assembly by cutting the tie strap. Discard the canister, tie strap, and 2 rubber discs. 4.

Models 04034 and 04035 only 1. Cut and discard the wire and wire seal on the high speed adjustment bolt located on the throttle linkage located below the carburetor (Figure 3). Figure 3 1. High speed adjustment bolt 2. Seal and wire 2. Connect the spark-plug wire, start the engine, and allow it to run for approximately 5 minutes. 3. Using an external tachometer, adjust the high idle stop bolt to regulate the high idle engine speed to 3,350 +/100 rpm (Figure 3). Important: Do not exceed 3,450 rpm. 4.
