mayignitethefuelfumes.

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoff

theengine,chockthewheels,disconnectthe

battery,andremovethekey.

2.Allowtheenginetocool,thendrainthefueltank

intoafuelcontainerusingapump.

Note:Disposeoffuelproperly.Recycle

accordingtolocalcodes.

3.Starttheengineandrunituntilitstops.

4.Choketheengine.Startandruntheengineuntil

itdoesnotstart.

5.Disconnectthefueltankhosesfromthemachine

anddiscardthem(Figure1).

Note:Retainthehoseclamps.

6.Removethefastenersandstrapssecuringthe

fueltanktothemachineanddiscardthemalong

withthetank(Figure1).

7.Disconnecttheremaininghosesfromthecarbon

canister(Figure1).

Note:Retainthehoseclamps.

8.Removethebatterycoverandbattery(Figure

1);refertoyourOperator’sManual.

9.Removethecarboncanisteranddiscardit

(Figure1).

Installing the 10 Gallon Tank No Parts Required Procedure 1. g035883 Figure 3 Remove the existing fuel-tank mount and install the new 10 gallon tank mount using 4 carriage bolts (5/16 inch) and 4 flange nuts (5/16 inch) through the holes in the tray as shown in Figure 2. 1. Flange nut (1/4 inch) 3. Bolt (1/4 inch) 2. Carbon-canister bracket 3. Secure the carbon canister to the bracket using the canister strap and 2 carriage bolts and flange nuts (3/8 inch) as shown in Figure 4.
