1 Preparing to Install the Selector Valve Kit No Parts Required Procedure 1. Empty the sprayer tank. 2. Move the machine to a level surface, shut off the engine, set the parking brake, and remove the key from the key switch. 3. Raise the back of the machine and support it with jack stands with a 1125 kg (2700 lb) lift capacity. Tightening the Fittings 6 1. Torque the jam nuts for the 90° hydraulic fittings (Figure 2) in port C3 and C4 to 27 to 35 N-m (20 to 26 ft-lb). Tightening the Hydraulic Fittings 2. Torque the swivel nuts for the 90° hydraulic fittings (Figure 3 and Figure 4) at port A and B to 37 to 45 N-m (27 to 33 ft-lb). 3. Torque the swivel nuts for the hose fittings (Figure 5 and Figure 6) at ports C1 and C2 to 37 to 45 N-m (27 to 33 ft-lb).

Operation Using the Selector Valve Use the selector valve to direct hydraulic pressure to the bed lift system or the sprayer-boom lift system as follows: • Sprayer-boom lift—rotate the handle for the selector valve clockwise to operate the sprayer-boom lift (Figure 18). • Bed lift—rotate the handle for the selector valve counterclockwise to operate the bed lift (Figure 18).
