AssociatingtheHandheld
RemotewiththeBase
Thefactoryinitiallyassociatestheremotetothebaseallowing
themtocommunicate;however,theremaybeinstancesinthe
eldwhenyoumustreassociatearemoteandabaseunit,
asfollows:
1.PresstheE-Stopbuttontoremovepowerfromthe
baseunitandmakesurethehandheldisoff.
2.Standnearthebaseunitinclearlineofsight.
3.Simultaneouslypressandcontinuetoholdthe
ON/OFFandtheALLSTOPbuttons.

Thehandheldremotegoesthroughitsinitialization
screensandsettlesonASSOCPENDING.
4.Continuetoholdbothbuttonsandthenquickly
releasethemwhenASSOCACTIVEisdisplayed
(approximately4seconds).
ThedisplaywillshowPRESSSTORE.
5.PressandholdtheSTOREbutton.
TheremotedisplaysPOWUPBASE.
6.WhilecontinuingtoholdtheSTOREbutton,pullout
ontheE-STOPbuttontopowerupthebaseunit.
Thehandheldremotewillassociate(link)withthebase
unit.Uponsuccess,thedisplaywillshowASSOC
PASS.
7.ReleasetheSTOREbutton.
Important:Ifthedisplayshows
ASSOC EXIT ,the
associationfailed.
Note:TheHandheldRemoteandBaseUnitlinkcanbe
viewedbyholdingdowntheALLSTOPandOPTIONSTOP
buttonsatthesametime.
Thedisplaywillcycleandindicatetheselectedchanneland
theIDoftheBaseUnit.

HolddowntheALLSTOPandOPTIONSTOPbuttons
simultaneouslytodisplaymultiplepointsofinformation.

Asyouholdthebuttonsdown,thedisplaycycles
approximatelyevery2secondsdisplayingrstthebattery
lifeexpectancyinpercentremainingorcurrentbattery
voltage,theoperatingfrequency(channel)onwhichtheunits
communicate,thenthehandheldremoteIDnumber,and
nallytheassociatedBASEUnitID.
OperatingtheFloorandOption
Usethefollowingprocedurestosetandoperatethe
machineoorandoption(suchasthetwinspinnerorother
attachment)asfollows:
•Settingandoperatingtheooralone
•Settingandoperatingtheoptionalone
•Settingandoperatingbothoorandoptiontogether
SettingandOperatingtheFloorAlone
UponinitiallypressingtheFLOORSTARTbutton
(whentheoorisnotrunning),theremotedisplayshowsthe
storedsettingandanSisdisplayedafterFLR(i.e.FLRS),
indicatingthattheremoteisinaset-onlymode.Inthis
set-onlymode,youcanadjustthesettingupordown,but
theoordoesnotactivate,remainingoff.Thisallowsyouto
setadesiredoorspeedorusethestoredsettingwithout
causingunwantedmovement.Aftersettingthespeed,press
theFLOORSTARTbuttontoactivatetheooratthechosen
setting(ifthehydraulicsareengaged,theoorwillstart).
PressFLOORSTARTathirdtimetostorethecurrentvalue
inmemory.
Note:Changestotheoorsettingswhiletheoorisrunning
areimmediatelyeffective,buttheyaretemporaryunlessyou
storethenewsettingbypressingFLOORSTARTagainafter
changingthesetting.Forinstance,youmakeanadjustment
whilethedisplayshowsFLRS,pressFloorStartstartingthe
oorattheadjustedsetting,andthenturntheremoteoff
withoutpressingFLOORSTARTagain,storingthechange.
Thenexttimeyouusetheremote,thesettingwillrevertto
thepreviouslystoredvalue.
Note:A10secondtimerstartswhenyoupressFLOOR
STARTandFLRS(set-onlymode)displays.Ifyoudonot
pressabuttonduringthe10secondinterval,thedisplay
revertstoFLRandthepreviousstate/valuedisplaysandis
