Installing the Cover WARNING If you leave the key in the ignition switch, someone could accidently start the engine and seriously injure you or bystanders. Installing the Cover to a Cab with Heat Only Remove the key from the ignition switch before you do any maintenance. 1. Locate the cover you set aside earlier. 2. Use a clean rag and alcohol to clean the bottom surface of the cover, around the holes. Preparing the Machine 1.

Note: Ensure the holes in the seals are aligned with the holes in the cover and the seals interlock with each other when they are applied (Figure 4) 4. Use 4 bolts and locknuts (1/4 x 3/4 inch) to loosely secure the short strap as shown in Figure 8. Note: Ensure you place the cover on to the roof with the seal side down. Figure 5 1. 2. Raise and secure the windshield so that you have access to the hinge on the left side of the machine (Figure 10). Figure 12 5. Insert the bulb seal into the other end of the weather seal and press the weather seal back into place (Figure 13). Figure 10 3. Pull off a small section of the weather seal to expose the splice underneath the hinge (Figure 11). Figure 13 1. Weather seal 6.
