Installation

PreparingtheMachine

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengage

thePTO,movethemotion-controlleverstothe

NEUTRAL-LOCKposition,andsettheparking

brake.

2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait

forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe

operatingposition.

3.Movetheheight-of-cutlevertotheTRANSPORT

position.

4.Movetheheight-of-cutpintothe7cm(2-3/4

inch)orlowerposition.

5.Checktheairpressureinthereartires;referto

theOperator’sManualforthemachine.

CorrectingtheHeightof

Cut

1.Placetheheight-of-cutblocksbelowthemower

decksothatthedeckshellrestsontheblocks

whenyoulowerthedeck(Figure1).

Note:Ensurethattheblocksarenotdirectly

belowthebafesonthefrontofthedeckorthe

blades.

4. 8. Lightly pull back the height-of-cut lever with 1 finger and note the position of the lever relative to the tangent of the hole for the 7.6 cm (3 inch) height of cut (Figure 2).
