Installation

PreparingtheMachine

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,disengagethePTO,

movethemotion-controlleverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCK

position,andsettheparkingbrake.

2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall

movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating

position.

3.Movetheheight-of-cutlevertotheTRANSPORT

position.

4.Movetheheight-of-cutpintothe7cm(2-3/4inch)or

lowerposition

CorrectingtheHeightofCut

1.Placetheheight-of-cutblocksbelowthemowerdeck

sothatthedeckshellrestsontheblockswhenyou

lowerthedeck(Figure1).

Note:Ensurethattheblocksarenotdirectlybelow

thebafesonthefrontofthedeckortheblades.

8. Loosen the jam nuts and side bolts in the yokes for the deck chains and linkages (Figure 4). 4. Lightly pull back the height-of-cut lever with 1 finger and note the position of the lever relative to the tangent of the hole for the 7.6 cm (3 inch) height of cut (Figure 2). Figure 2 1.
