1 Preparing the Machine No Parts Required Procedure 1. Move the machine to a level surface (box A of Figure 1). 2. Engage the parking brake (box B of Figure 1). 3. Remove the key from the ignition switch (box C of Figure 1). 4. Remove the negative battery cable from the battery (box D of Figure 1). 3. Drill 2 holes (6.35 mm or 1/4 inch diameter) in the plastic cargo bed (Figure 4). 4. Install the 2 push fasteners into the holes. Installing the Plate Bracket and Wire Harness 1. Remove the 4 existing flange-head bolts from the underside of the cargo bed and use them to install the plate bracket (Figure 5). Figure 6 2. Wire harness 1. Push fasteners 4. Insert the wires through the large holes in the plate bracket and connect to the 2 plate lights (Figure 7).

. Install the plate lights to the plate bracket using the 4 Phillips-head screws (#10 x 5/8 inch) and 4 locknuts (#10) as shown in Figure 7. 6. Unplug the left taillight wire harness from the Brake and Signal Kit wire harness. 7. 5 Installing the Speed Plates Parts needed for this procedure: 3 Speed plate 2 Plate-mount bracket 17 Pop rivet (3/16 x 0.92 inch) Installing the Speed Plates to the Seat Base Sides 1. On the left side of the machine, measure 51 mm (2 inches) from bottom, left of the seat base side, and mark this location (Figure 11). 2. Installing the Speed Plate to the Tailgate 7. Install the plate-mount bracket to the seat base side using 4 pop rivets (3/16 x 0.92 inch) as shown in Figure 12. 1. On the right side of the tailgate, measure 95 mm (3.75 inches) from the right edge of the tailgate and 70 mm (2.75 inches) from the top of the tailgate, and mark the location (Figure 14). 2. Measure 128 mm (5.02 inches) down from the hole marked in step 1 and 74 mm (2.9 inches) to the right and left and mark the 2 locations (Figure 14). 3.
