1.Ifyourmachinedoesnothaveacutoutinthe

storagepodlid,drillandletheexistinglidusing

thedimensionsprovided(Figure2andFigure3).

Engage the parking brake. 4. Shut off the engine and remove the key. Modifying the Lock 1. Remove the screw, the washer, and the 30 mm latch from the lock (Figure 1). Note: Retain the lock barrel and lock g221600 mechanism together. Retain the screw and the washer for assembly. Discard the 30 mm latch.

Fit the lock as shown in Figure 4, using the provided 1 mm shims as necessary to adjust the clearance between the latch and the lip on the inside of the storage pod to ensure that the lock operates correctly. Note: If any decals are damaged during the drilling/filing operation, replace them.
