1.Movethemachinetoalevelsurface.

2.Releasetheblade-brakebail.

3.Disconnectthespark-plugwirefromthesparkplug.

4.Removetheblade-drivesystemcoverfromthe

machine.

5.Tipthemachineontoitsside,withtheairlterfacing

upward,untiltheupperhandlerestsontheground.

Important:Tippingthemachinemaycausethe

fueltoleak.Fuelisammableandexplosive,and

cancausepersonalinjury.Runtheenginedryto

removethefuelwithahandpump;neversiphon

thefuel.

Brake cable 2. Loosen the cable-clamp screw and slide the cable out from under the engine (Figure 5).
