1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO,engagetheparkingbrake,
andmovethemotion-controlleversoutwardto
theNEUTRAL-LOCKposition.
3.Shutofftheengineandremovethekey.
4.Lowerthekickstandsforthebroom.
InstallingtheFlaps
Installtheupperapandbackingplatetothehoodof
thebroomusing8boltsand8nuts(Figure1).T orque
theboltsto10to14N∙m(90to100in-lb).
Note:Ensurethatthebackingplatebendsupward,
towardtheupperap.
