15. In the reverse position, the spring switch tab should

be fully depressed. If adjustment is needed, move

the shifter to the neutral position. Remove the hair-

pin from the shift rod trunnion. Rotate the trunnion

clockwise or counterclockwise until the shift rod

connects with the reverse spring switch when the

shift lever is in the reverse position (Fig. 460 and

Fig. 461).

17. Install the hub cap washer, washer and bolt securing

the rear right wheel assembly to the axle. Repeat for

rear left wheel assembly (Fig. 463).

16. Apply anti-sieze compound to the axles. Slide the

left and right wheel assemblies onto tthe axles (Fig.

462).
