Removal

13. Install the spring into the idler and brake bracket

assemblies (Fig. 562).

2. Remove the idler bracket spring from the stud on the

mower deck (Fig. 564).

A. Spring removal tool (Toro P/N 92-5771)

1. Remove the spring from the idler and brake bracket

assemblies (Fig. 563).

12. Install a hairpin cotter into the brake rod (Fig. 561).
