Procedure

1.Connectthemachinetoatowvehicle;refertoyourmachineOperator’sManual.

2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,movethemotionpedalstotheNEUTRALposition,andengage

theparkingbrake.

3.Settheenginespeedtoidleandallowtheenginetorunfor10to20seconds.

4.TurntheengineOn/OffswitchtotheOFFpositionandwaitforallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe

operator’sseat.

Installing the Kit Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Gas spring 2 Nut Procedure 1. Remove and discard the existing gas spring and 2 corresponding nuts (Figure 1). Note: For machines with serial number 410399999 and below, remove the weld nut on the front mounting bracket (Figure 1). Note: For machines with serial number 410399999 and below, drill out both of the existing mounting holes to 7/16 inch (11 mm) diameter.
