6. Remove the battery tray (Fig. 644). 9. Remove the Electric PTO clutch. Refer to Electric

PTO Clutch Removal on page 3-29.

10. Slide the engine pulley off the crankshaft and

remove the transmission drive belt from the engine

pulley (Fig. 646).

11. Remove the transmission drive belt from around the

crankshaft (Fig. 647).

7. Raise the machine so the transmission drive belt can

be accessed.

8. With a small pry bar, release tension from the idler

VSULQJ5HPRYHWKHEHOWIURPWKH¿[HG9LGOHUSXOOH\

and the idler pulley (Fig. 645).
