1. Check and apply grease to all three mower deck

spindles as needed.

2. Position the spindle assembly onto the top side of

the mower deck (pulley side facing up) (Fig. 879).

tioned so that it is facing toward the front

of the mower deck. This will allow for easier

greasing of the spindles.

3. Install 4 screws securing the spindle assembly to the

mower deck (Fig. 880).

Note: The screws are installed from the bottom side

of the mower deck.
