Donotforcethechutedeectortoofarforwardso
thatagapappearsbetweenthedischargechute
andchutedeector.
Donotadjustthechutedeectorwiththepower
controlbarengaged.Releasethepowercontrolbar
beforeadjustingthechutedeector.

WARNING
Iftheappliancehitsanobjectwhileinoperation,the
objectcouldbethrownatyouorbystanders.Thrown
objectscouldcauseseriouspersonalinjury.
Keeptheareatobeclearedfreeofallobjectswhich
maybepickedupandthrownbytherotorblades.
Checktheconditionoftheappliancebeforeoperatingitto
ensurethattherotorturnsfreely.
Alwayskeepchildrenandpetsawayfromtheareaof
operation.
Keeptheareatobeclearedfreeofstones,toys,orother
objectswhichtherotorbladescanthrow.Suchitemscould
becoveredbysnowfallandgounnoticed.Iftheappliance
strikesanobjectduringoperation,stoptheappliance,unplug
theextensioncord,removetheobstruction,andcheckthe
appliancefordamage.
Beginremovingsnowneartheelectricaloutletandwork
outward.Blowbackandforth,notawayfromandtowardthe
outlet.
Whenturningattheendofaswath,stepoverthecordand
turntheappliance.
Alwaysoverlapeachswathanddischargethesnowdownwind
whenpossible.
WARNING
Whenusingthedischargechutehandle,never
directthesnowdischargechuteattheoperatoror
bystanders.Theappliancecanthrowobjectsand
causeseriouspersonalinjury.
Whenusingthedischargechutehandle,always
turnthedischargechuteintheoppositedirection
fromwhereyouorbystandersarestanding.
Keeptheextensioncordclearofobstructions,sharpobjects,
andallmovingparts.Donotpullsharplyoncordorabuse
itinanymanner.Inspecttheextensioncordfrequentlyfor
damagethatmayresultinanelectricshock.Iftheextension
cordisdamaged,replaceit.
Incoldandsnowyweatherconditions,somecontrolsand
movingpartsmayfreeze.Therefore,ifanycontrolbecomes
