cord,andcheckforfrozenparts.Donotuseexcessiveforce
whentryingtooperatefrozencontrols.Bringtheappliance
indoorstothawfrozencontrolsbeforeoperatingit.
Whenoperatingtheappliance,keepthewheels2.5cm(1
inch)offthepavementbytippingtheapplianceforward.This
helpspreventthesnowfrombuildinguponthewheels.
Afterclearingthesnow,letthemotorrunforafewminutes
sothatmovingpartsdonotfreeze.Thenshutoffthemotor,
waitforallmovingpartstostop,andwipetheiceandsnow
offtheappliance.Rotatethechutecrankseveraltimesto
removeanysnow.
Maintenance
Note:Determinetheleftandrightsidesoftheappliancefrom
thenormaloperatingposition.
WARNING
Iftheextensioncordispluggedintotheappliance,
someonecouldaccidentallyoperatetheappliance
whileyouareperformingmaintenanceonit,causing
seriouspersonalinjury.
Removetheinterlockbutton(key)anddisconnectthe
extensioncordbeforeyouperformanymaintenance
ontheappliance.
LubricatingtheAppliance
Youdonotneedtolubricatetheappliance;allthebearingshave
beenlubricatedatthefactoryforthelifeoftheappliance.
