SERVICING AIR CLEANER Normally, replace air cleaner after every 25 operating hours. More frequent replacement is required when mower is operated in dusty or dirty conditions. 1. Stop engine and pull wire off spark plug {Fig. 13). 2. Remove screw securing air cleaner cover to engine {Fig. 9}.

Remove drain plug from underside of mower using a 5/16” Allen wrench (Fig. 11) or the male end of a 3/8” socket extension with a ratchet for turning (Fig. 12). MAINTENANCE CHECKING TRANSMISSION OiL LEVEL The transmission is filled with E.P. 80 gear oil that has a GLIB or GLIB rating. Level of gear oil must be checked at least every 25 operating hours, before storage and before the mowing season begins. 1. Stop engine and pull wire off spark plug (Fig. 18). 2.
